Bring relaxation in your body and prepare yourself for a good night sleep. Yin yoga is a beautiful soft form of yoga that helps you to turn inwards and to explore what is alive within you. It gives you the opportunity to rest the body, to create space in your connective tissue, fascia, and to soften, to surrender into what is. These five yin poses will help you to sleep better.
Gather your props and blankets and find softness in these poses. You can hold each pose around 5 minutes if you like.
Supported reclined butterfly
Lie on your back with the soles of your feet somewhat together and flare your knees open to the sides. Place support under your knees to soften the edge on your inner thighs.
I have my hands resting on my chest and belly to feel my breath.

Supported twists
Stay on your back and guide both legs to the side. Use support underneath or in between your legs for a soft version. Option to rest one hand on your legs and the other arm open to the side.
In between sides you can rest both your feet on the floor, or knees into the chest.

Dragonfly
Rest on your sits bones and bring your legs into a V-shape. Bring props in front of you and rest your upper body on the props.
Option to bend your knees as much as feels comfortable. Notice the length in your upper body and an edge on the inside of your legs.

Sleeping swan
Find edge on the outside of your hips. Come in table top, bring one shin to the front on your mat, guide the other leg to the back.
Support your upper body with props so you can rest yourself.
In between sides you can move into soft cat-cows.

Supported savasana
Make yourself comfortable on your spine. Perhaps with support under your knees and a pillow on your belly.
