What do stress, burnouts, and boundaries have in common? Communication. The absence of genuine attention and interest between conversation partners is becoming scarce. This lack of real attention is a major cause of stress and miscommunication. Next to this, as we communicate so much over the phone, we find ourselves engaging in old-fashioned face-to-face communication less frequently. But there is hope. Learn the art of communicating again in this workshop.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I discovered that I was bad at communicating my boundaries. I always said yes, and that led me to burnout.” Last week, a student approached me and shared her challenges with not daring to say ‘no.’ She so desperately wanted to fit in that she ended up tired and burned out, sitting on the couch at home.<\/p>\n

“I am looking for ways to destress. Yoga<\/a> is great, but I feel it is not enough,” she said. Yoga is a powerful tool to create space in your mind, body, and it makes you aware of your breath and what is alive within you. This student discovered that the core of the problem couldn’t be solved with movement and breathing alone.<\/p>\n

Yoga and Google assisted her in finding a workshop on communication. She wants to learn to say no, understand when to say no, how to set her boundaries, and how to communicate what she wants.<\/p>\n

This student is one example of why I started the workshop ‘The art of communicating.’ A workshop in which you learn how to communicate your needs, wishes, and boundaries with confidence. Where you will explore active listening skills through practical exercises to create authentic connections.<\/p>\n
