Restorative yoga promotes deep relaxation and alleviates stress and tension in the body. This type of yoga\u00a0 fosters mental calmness and mindfulness, contributing to overall well-being.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gather your props and blankets and find softness in these poses. If you wish, you can hold each pose for around 15-20 minutes if you like. Each pose is designed to completely relax and perhaps to fall asleep a bit. So, make sure you don\u2019t feel any edge, only pure relaxation. I personally love a blanket on my mat, to help the body soften even more.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Supported Savasana<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Make yourself comfortable on your back. Place support under your knees and a pillow on your belly. You can rest your hands on blocks. Extend your legs up the wall, allowing the wall to fully support them. If you feel they might move, use a belt around your legs for added support. Rest your right waist over the bolster and place your head on a meditation pillow for support.
